Cincinnati Zoo Controlled Burn Date

There will be a controlled burn on Tuesday (1/13/26) at the Bowyer Farm (2210 Mason Montgomery Road). The Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens, with support from the Hamilton Conservation Corps' volunteers and professional fire agencies, will be conducting the burn to remove unwanted pests and invasive plants that cannot withstand the heat of the fire like native plants can.
Turtlecreek Township's Fire Department will be on scene to monitor the burn, which is expected to be highly visible to surrounding areas at times.
