The Warren County Township Association has awarded a $1500 scholarship to a Turtlecreek Township resident.  Ashley Yontz, a recent graduate from Bishop Fenwick who will be attending Ohio Dominion University in the fall, wrote an impressive essay that compared her experiences and observations while attending trustee meetings in two different townships (Franklin Township and Union Township).  In her essay, she specifically noted the effect that township government has on her everyday life and how important a sense of community is.
