Police Department
The Warren County Sheriff's Office is Turtlecreek Township's primary law enforcement agency. They are responsible for responding to all calls from Turtlecreek Township residents. They are also responsible for patroling and enforcement of all county and township roads. Their additional responsibilities include assisting Turtlecreek Township Fire and EMS on their dispatches, as needed; security for the Common Pleas and County Courts; staffing and management of the County jail; servicing of warrants and civil papers; transportation of prisoners both in and out of state; and participate in the Clinton-Warren Drug Task Force. They also assist the Ohio State Highway Patrol and the City of Lebanon Police Department in a mutual-aid agreement.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol's primary responsibility is patroling and enforcement for interstate highways, state routes, and state-owned properties (prisons, rest areas, etc.). They also assist the Sheriff's Office at their request on additional or other investigations. The OSP will also assist the Sheriff's Office on patroling and enforcement of county and township roads.
